Steps to Connect

  1. Open the Get Link Android App.
  2. Click on the "Start a FTP Server" button.
  3. Enter the username, password, and port number you want to set. Try to use port number between 1000 and 9999. Some common port numbers are 1025, 3000, 8000, 8080.

    Note: The username and password will be used to log in and access the files on the specified port within your local network.

  4. Once you start the server, the FTP server will be activated and you will see the URL on which you can access the server.
  5. On your Mac:
    • Open Finder.
    • Click on "Go".
    • Select "Connect to Server".
  6. Enter the local network FTP URL displayed in the Get Link app on your phone.
  7. Click Enter, and then input the username and password you set in the app.
  8. Now, you can access all the files on your phone from your Mac.

Steps to Use the Local Server Feature

  1. Open the Get Link App.
  2. Click on the "Send File on Same Network" option.
  3. Note the URL and the OTP displayed in the app.
  4. Open the URL in any browser connected to the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
  5. Enter your Get Link registered email and the OTP.
  6. On your phone, click on Add New Files select the folder you want to share.
  7. All files in the folder will now be visible in the browser.
  8. Download files one by one or as a ZIP.
